Engineered to handle intense loads in high-performance street, drag racing, and handling applications, this red powdercoated crossmember is manufactured right here in the U.S.A. from robust 1.25-inch DOM steel tubing and high-strength, laser-cut, CNC-formed 3/16-inch steel plate. By shifting the torque arm mount completely off the transmission tailshaft and onto the rigid crossmember frame, it prevents structural tailshaft housing breakage under heavy stress. This heavy-duty structural rigidity completely eliminates crossmember deflection, ensuring your drivetrain remains properly aligned for predictable, repeatable chassis reactions. Installation takes approximately 1 to 2 hours.
NOTE: BMR’s TCC008 crossmembers are designed explicitly for factory LT1 engine configurations and will not work with LS-swapped vehicles. As shipped, this unit is designed to work with BMR torque arms, but it may be used with stock or other aftermarket brands by installing a compatible front bushing.
