By combining six of Steeda's most effective IRS upgrades into one package, this kit provides the ultimate foundation for improved traction, suspension compliance, and chassis stability.
The factory IRS subframe is mounted using soft rubber bushings that allow excessive movement during acceleration, braking, and cornering. This movement contributes to wheel hop, inconsistent launches, and vague handling. Steeda's comprehensive solution reinforces the IRS at every critical point by aligning the subframe, eliminating unwanted movement, strengthening chassis connections, improving toe control, reducing suspension deflection, and stabilizing the differential. The result is a Mustang that launches harder, corners flatter, and inspires greater driver confidence. Installed on Steeda's 2024 Mustang GT HPDE build alongside the Competition Front and Rear Sway Bar Kit, this package contributed to over a 2-second improvement in lap times.
