Upgrade belt control on your high-performance 4.6L Modular Ford with the American Racing Solutions Racing Billet Belt Tensioner. Designed for demanding performance applications, this racing tensioner is precision CNC-machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and uses a custom-wound high-tension spring to provide improved belt grip during aggressive driving and high-RPM operation.
Factory-style belt tensioners can become a limiting factor as engine speed and belt-drive loads increase. American Racing Solutions engineered the 9935 to provide increased belt control and reliability for modified Ford applications. The stronger racing spring helps maintain consistent belt tension, reducing the potential for unwanted belt slip during hard acceleration and demanding performance use.
Rather than using cast construction, American Racing Solutions machines the tensioner from solid 6061-T6 billet aluminum for excellent strength, durability, and precision. A hardened steel shaft and heavy-duty bearings further reinforce the assembly, while the anodized finish provides additional durability and helps reduce belt wear.
