The factory independent rear suspension allows unwanted movement through compliant rubber bushings, resulting in wheel hop, inconsistent handling, and reduced traction. Steeda's Ultimate Handling Kit addresses these weaknesses by reinforcing the IRS subframe, improving suspension geometry, stabilizing the differential, and adding adjustable suspension components that maximize grip and predictability. Installed on Steeda's HPDE development Mustang alongside the Competition Front and Rear Sway Bar Kit, this combination produced over a two-second improvement in lap times.
