Launch harder, eliminate wheel hop, and achieve predictable handling on your Third or Fourth Gen GM F-Body with BMR Suspension Xtreme On-Car Adjustable Lower Control Arms. Factory stamped-steel control arms are notoriously weak and prone to twisting under load. Combined with soft factory rubber bushings, they deflect significantly during hard acceleration or cornering, absorbing power instead of transferring it to the pavement. Engineered to support high-performance street, drag race, and road race applications, these Xtreme tubular control arms completely eliminate flex to keep your rear axle properly aligned and your tires planted firmly.
Built for maximum structural integrity without adding unnecessary weight, these control arms are constructed from lightweight 1.625-inch 4130 chrome-moly steel tubing and feature robust TIG-welded tube adapters. A massive 1-1/8-inch CNC-machined center adjuster with right- and left-hand threads allows you to easily adjust your rear wheelbase and center the wheels in the wheel wells while the arms remain fully installed on the vehicle. For a solid and responsive feel, the arms are outfitted with high-performance 95-durometer polyurethane bushings with zinc-coated inner sleeves. These bushings feature an internally fluted design that distributes grease evenly across the sleeve and outer thrust surfaces, keeping them fully lubricated under heavy compression while isolating unwanted noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) for a comfortable ride. Finished in a rugged black hammertone powdercoat, this direct bolt-on upgrade installs easily in 1 to 2 hours using basic hand tools.
