Prepare your high-horsepower Mustang for safe, reliable deceleration with the Watson Racing Parachute Mount Bumper. Designed specifically for 2015-2026 Ford Mustang S550 and S650 models, this heavy-duty bumper provides the strength required for repeated parachute deployments while reducing weight through premium chromoly construction. Developed for serious drag racing applications, this is the same style of bumper used on Watson Racing's competition vehicles, including the Cobra Jet program.
Constructed from lightweight yet incredibly strong 1-5/8-inch chromoly tubing, the Watson Racing Parachute Mount Bumper is finished in a durable powder coat for long-lasting protection. Unlike the factory bumper beam, this design incorporates a reinforced mounting system that utilizes the factory mounting locations along with four additional mounting bolts per side that secure the bumper directly to the frame rails. With a total of twelve mounting bolts, the bumper is engineered to withstand the repeated forces generated during parachute deployment. It is designed for use with the Watson Racing Low Mount Parachute Bracket (WR-15-PARACHUTEMNT-LOW), while the release cable is available separately.
