Unlike many competing designs that require drilling into the Mustang's high-strength structure or mounting to weaker sheet metal, the Watson Racing Convertible Roll Bar utilizes existing factory mounting holes surrounding the factory corner gussets for a stronger, easier installation. Constructed from 100-percent TIG-welded 1.75-inch x .120-inch wall DOM steel tubing and finished in a durable powder coat, this roll bar includes a fixed harness bar, diagonal brace, shoulder harness retention loops, precision-machined tube joints, and premium zinc-plated installation hardware. The design also minimizes interior trim modifications while maintaining full front seat travel for maximum comfort.
