Take the Ford 7.3L Godzilla platform into serious competition territory with the Whipple Gen 6 3.0L Hot Rod Supercharger Kit. Purpose-built for Godzilla crate engines installed in hot rods, drag builds, and other non-emissions competition applications, the WHR-2340-30 combines Whipple's latest Gen 6 twin-screw technology with an inverted supercharger layout, massive 132mm front-feed inlet, and oversized dual-pass intercooler system.
Engineered with more than 1,800 horsepower of capability when paired with the appropriate engine, fuel system, belt drive, and supporting components, this is not a conventional street supercharger package. Whipple designed the system around maximum airflow, charge cooling, high-RPM efficiency, and flexible packaging for custom race-oriented Godzilla builds.
1800+ HP Capability
The Gen 6 3.0L Hot Rod Supercharger Kit is engineered for serious high-output combinations and is capable of supporting more than 1,800 horsepower when matched with the appropriate fuel, engine, belt drive, tuning, and supporting configuration.
This high-output capability makes the WHR-2340-30 an option for purpose-built Godzilla combinations where maximum supercharger airflow and substantial room for future power increases are priorities.
Whipple Gen 6 3.0L Twin-Screw Technology
At the heart of the system is Whipple's Gen 6 3.0L twin-screw supercharger. The latest 3x4 rotor combination is engineered for increased RPM capability, greater airflow, and improved efficiency compared with previous designs.
Optimized port geometry and tight rotor sealing help reduce parasitic losses while increasing usable airflow, allowing the supercharger to deliver strong power capability across the engine's operating range.
Massive 132mm Front-Feed Inlet
A large 132mm oval front-feed inlet provides the airflow capacity required for extreme-output combinations. The inlet uses a right-hand orientation and can be paired with an optional Whipple 132mm billet throttle body for applications requiring maximum inlet flow.
Both mechanical and drive-by-wire versions of the optional 132mm billet throttle body are available, allowing the system to be configured around the requirements of the individual vehicle and engine combination.
Oversized Dual-Pass Intercooler
Controlling intake charge temperature becomes increasingly important as boost and horsepower increase. Whipple equips the Gen 6 Godzilla Hot Rod system with its patented oversized dual-core, dual-pass intercooler configuration.
The large intercooler provides substantially more cooling surface area than typical performance systems. Its dual-pass design is engineered to keep intake charge temperatures stable during sustained boost, supporting consistent power delivery and improved reliability under demanding competition conditions.
Inverted Supercharger Design
The inverted supercharger configuration gives Whipple the space required for the large intercooler core while maintaining compact packaging for custom installations. This architecture is particularly valuable for hot rods and competition vehicles where engine bay configuration can vary significantly from an original-production Ford application.
The system also includes -12 AN fittings for the inverted layout and the hardware required to mount the supercharger assembly.
Billet Fuel Rails
Whipple includes billet -8AN fuel rails to support the fuel delivery requirements of high-output Godzilla combinations. The system also features billet rotors machined in the USA as part of its competition-focused construction.
Optional Heavy-Duty Belt Drive Capability
For extreme-boost applications, the Gen 6 3.0L system can be paired with Whipple's optional heavy-duty 10-rib belt drive systems. The increased belt capacity is designed to provide additional grip for demanding high-boost combinations where maintaining consistent supercharger drive is critical.
