Designed for the fifth generation Camaro, the 2516-R helps minimize wheel hop, optimize caster settings, and improve rear-end stability while allowing proper suspension articulation.
UMI's Roto-Joint uses a spherical pivot ball with a greaseable Delrin race to provide 28 degrees of unrestricted movement. This bind-free design provides precise suspension movement while helping absorb shock and road noise for smooth operation on both street and track vehicles.
UMI Roto-Joint Technology
The Roto-Joint combines a 4140 chrome-moly, hard chrome-plated spherical ball with a Delrin race for durability and wear resistance. The joint provides 28 degrees of total rotation to help prevent suspension bind, improve traction, and reduce wheel hop. Each Roto-Joint is adjustable and 100% rebuildable for long-term service.
Heavy-Duty Trailing Arm Construction
The 2516-R trailing arms are fabricated from 1-inch x 2-inch rectangular tubing with 0.250-inch thick CNC machined mounting plates and CNC machined DOM bushing holders. The arms are supplied fully assembled with the Roto-Joints and install directly using OEM hardware.
Adjustable and Rebuildable Roto-Joints
A spanner wrench is included for adjustment, maintenance, and disassembly of the Roto-Joints. The wrench allows the adjusting ring to be tightened to apply additional pressure to the Delrin race as needed.
