UMI Performance Stage 1 Strip Grip Kit Red (102620-R) - 1999-2004 Ford Mustang
Improve launches, lower 60-foot times, and increase consistency with the UMI Performance Stage 1 Strip Grip Kit for the 1999-2004 Ford Mustang. This package combines UMI rear lift bars with lower torque box reinforcements to strengthen key rear suspension mounting areas and improve performance at the track.
The rear lift bars are constructed from 0.120-inch wall mild steel boxed tubing and feature CNC machined, fully MIG welded construction. Solid aluminum bushings with zinc-plated steel sleeves provide a solid connection, while heavy-duty sway bar mounts are incorporated into the lift bars.
Lower Torque Box Reinforcements
The included lower control arm torque box reinforcements are constructed from 0.120-inch thick mild steel and CNC machined for precise tolerances. Fully MIG welded construction provides additional strength for hard launches and track use.
Installation
The Stage 1 Strip Grip Kit can be installed using either a weld-in or bolt-in method. Installation takes approximately three hours, and the kit includes the necessary hardware along with detailed installation instructions.
