UMI Performance Upper and Lower Control Arm Reinforcement Kit (1001) - 1979-1993 Ford Mustang
Strengthen the rear control arm mounting points on your 1979-1993 Ford Mustang with the UMI Performance Upper and Lower Control Arm Reinforcement Kit. Designed to address weak factory mounting points, this complete kit reinforces both the upper and lower rear control arm locations to help prevent damage under hard launches and performance driving.
The kit also reinforces the front mounting points of the lower control arms and is well suited for Mustangs equipped with aftermarket control arms and polyurethane bushings. The reinforcements can be either bolted or welded into place, with welding remaining optional.
Installation
Installation takes approximately four hours and includes Grade 8 hardware along with detailed installation instructions. The reinforcements are supplied in bare metal for welding purposes and should be painted after installation to protect the exposed metal.
