Add Rear Roll Control to Your F-150
UMI designed the 6580 Rear Sway Bar to address the body roll and handling balance of the F-150 platform. Because the factory truck does not use a rear sway bar, adding the UMI system significantly increases rear roll stiffness and helps control chassis movement through corners.
The increased rear roll control is designed to reduce excessive body lean and understeer, helping the truck feel flatter, more responsive, and more balanced during performance driving.
Three-Way Adjustable Sway Bar Rate
The UMI 6580 provides three mounting positions for sway bar rate adjustment. Changing the end link mounting position alters the effective stiffness of the rear bar, allowing you to tune the handling balance to suit your individual truck.
This adjustability makes it possible to tailor the rear suspension for street driving, track use, different suspension combinations, or changing hauling demands rather than being locked into a single sway bar rate.

Heavy-Duty 3.25" Axle Clamps
The kit includes heavy-duty 3.25-inch axle clamp assemblies that securely position the sway bar mounting components on the rear axle. These application-specific clamps allow the sway bar system to be installed without welding mounting tabs directly to the axle housing.
Polyurethane Bushings and Billet Aluminum Collars
Heavy-duty polyurethane bushings are included to provide positive sway bar control and durability. Billet aluminum locking clamp collars help maintain the proper lateral position of the sway bar during operation.
Adjustable End Links with Seals-It Rod End Seals
The complete system includes adjustable end links, allowing the sway bar installation to be properly configured for the lowered suspension. Premium Seals-It rod end seals provide additional protection for the rod ends, helping support long-lasting performance in changing weather and road conditions.
Complete Bolt-On Installation
The UMI 6580 uses frame inserts and application-specific mounting brackets to provide a bolt-on installation. No cutting or welding is required, and the system can be installed using standard hand tools.

Pair with a UMI Front Sway Bar
For a more comprehensive handling package, UMI recommends pairing the 6580 Adjustable Rear Sway Bar with one of its compatible front sway bar systems, including part numbers 6579 or 6581. Combining front and rear roll control allows the suspension to be tuned as a complete system for flatter cornering and improved chassis balance.
