Designed Specifically for Lowered F-150s
The UMI 6565 Upper A-Arm Kit is intended for F-150s lowered at least 2.5 inches and is most effective within approximately the 3-6 inch lowered range. Significant lowering can move the truck's factory caster and camber outside the desired alignment range, making proper correction difficult with the original suspension components.
UMI engineered these arms to help restore factory caster and camber specifications after lowering, providing additional geometry correction for proper alignment, responsive handling, and more even tire wear.
Adjustable Camber
A key feature of the UMI lowered F-150 upper A-arm is its adjustable ball joint pad. The heavy-duty pad is laser cut and fully welded, allowing camber to be adjusted in increments to help achieve the desired alignment setting.
This additional adjustment is particularly valuable on trucks with substantial front drops, where the factory suspension's available alignment range may no longer be sufficient.
Replaceable Ball Joint Design
UMI's composite upper A-arm design allows the ball joints to be replaced independently when service is eventually required.
