Stock-Spring Lower Control Arms for 2nd-Gen Camaro, Firebird & Late Nova
The TRZ Motorsports 318-STK-Lowers are tubular stock-spring lower control arms engineered for 1970 - 1981 GM F-Body vehicles (Camaro & Firebird) and 1975 - 1979 Chevrolet Nova. Built from ultra-strong TIG-welded chrome-moly tubing, these lowers significantly increase front-end rigidity while reducing weight - ideal for drag racers looking to tighten suspension geometry without switching to coilovers.
TRZ includes ball joints and bushings pre-installed on the lowers, ensuring quick bolt-in fitment. The stock-spring configuration maintains factory-style spring and shock setups, while the dropped spring perches accommodate the extra height of many aftermarket coil springs. Depending on the spring selection, these lowers can naturally reduce front ride height 1.5" - 1.75" compared to OEM arms.
When combined with TRZ's PRO Series upper control arms, the complete setup delivers the proper suspension geometry to achieve 6 - 7 degrees of positive caster. Installing lowers or uppers alone will not achieve these caster values and may introduce alignment limitations.
TRZ also offers coilover-specific lowers (316 or 319/S10) for racers needing a 2" to 3" front-end drop. These 318 stock-spring lowers are the best option for drag racers who want weight reduction and improved geometry while retaining a factory-style spring arrangement.
Note: TRZ A-arms are designed strictly for drag racing. They do not include sway bar tabs and are not intended for street use.

Do these lowers work with coilover conversions?
No. These are stock-spring-only lowers. For coilovers, use TRZ's 316 or 319/S10 coilover lowers.
Can these lowers achieve the full 6 - 7 degrees of caster?
