BMR T56 Six-Speed Manual Transmission Torque Arm Relocation Crossmember Black (TCC011H) - 1993-1997 F-Body LT1

On factory 1993-1997 GM F-Bodies, the torque arm mounts directly to the transmission tailshaft housing. Under aggressive street driving, high-horsepower launches, or hard cornering, this setup exerts extreme stress on the aluminum casing, frequently resulting in cracked or shattered transmission housings. BMR’s high-strength tubular crossmember replaces the flimsy factory stamped-steel unit, relocating the torque arm mount completely off the transmission and onto the rigid crossmember frame.
Engineered for high-performance street, drag racing, and handling applications, this black hammertone powdercoated crossmember is manufactured right here in the U.S.A. from robust 1.25-inch DOM steel tubing and high-strength, laser-cut steel plate. This heavy-duty tubular construction eliminates crossmember deflection, keeping your drivetrain properly aligned under load to deliver improved repeatability on the street, at the starting line, or through the corners. It is a direct-fit design that bolts seamlessly into the factory frame mounting locations. Installation takes approximately 1 to 2 hours.
NOTE: BMR’s TCC011 crossmembers are designed explicitly for factory LT1 configurations and will not work with LS-swapped vehicles without modification. As shipped, this unit is designed to work with BMR torque arms, but it may be used with stock or other aftermarket brands by installing a compatible front bushing.
