The factory stamped-steel trailing arms utilize soft rubber bushings that deflect significantly under structural load, absorbing power rather than transferring it to the tires. This flex results in inconsistent handling, frustrating wheel hop, and poor traction. BMR’s heavy-duty, boxed tubular trailing arms completely replace the weak stock components, providing an ultra-rigid suspension upgrade engineered to keep your rear axle precisely located and your vehicle handling predictably.
Engineered for street performance, drag racing, and road course applications, these black hammertone powdercoated trailing arms are manufactured right here in the U.S.A. from robust 1x2-inch boxed steel tubing. To achieve a responsive, performance-oriented feel while maintaining excellent ride quality, the arms are outfitted with high-durometer, 95-durometer polyurethane bushings that are internally fluted for consistent, long-term lubrication. This design provides a massive performance improvement over the factory components without sacrificing comfort. Installation takes approximately 1 hour.
