The XS3 calipers are machined from solid 6061 aluminum and use a rigid crossflow design that eliminates external transfer tubes while helping distribute hydraulic pressure evenly across all four pistons. Billet 304 stainless steel pistons, black anodized brackets and hats, dark zinc-plated rotors, and high-quality 12-point hardware create a durable and performance-focused front brake package. Designed for enthusiasts who want improved braking without giving up smaller wheel options, this system works with many factory, steel, and drag racing wheels when proper clearance is available.

Caliper Design
The XS3 Extreme Street caliper is based on engineering developed through TBM's racing brake programs. Its all-billet construction provides excellent strength and rigidity, allowing the caliper to generate substantial clamping force while improving pedal response. The internal crossflow fluid path helps equalize pressure across the piston bores for smooth, predictable braking performance.
Rotor Design
The included 12.19-inch cast rotors feature slotted and vented construction to balance braking performance, cooling capacity, durability, weight, and appearance. Their compact size helps preserve compatibility with many smaller wheel combinations while still providing the heat management needed for demanding street and performance use. A dark zinc finish helps protect the rotors from corrosion before installation and on surfaces not contacted by the brake pads.
Brake Pads
This kit includes Hawk Performance HPS brake pads using a Ferro-Carbon friction compound. The HPS material delivers a strong balance of braking performance, manageable brake dust, and reduced noise compared to more aggressive race-oriented pad compounds.
Billet Brake Hats
TBM's billet aluminum brake hats reduce unnecessary rotating mass by replacing the heavier steel center section found in traditional one-piece rotors. Their stepped mounting design also allows minor axle offset adjustment to help achieve proper brake alignment during installation.
