Featuring compact 12.19-inch slotted and vented rotors, billet four-piston calipers, and Hawk Performance HPS brake pads, this kit delivers impressive stopping capability and responsive pedal feel while retaining compatibility with many 15-inch and larger wheels.
Designed specifically for 1998-2002 LS-powered 4th Gen F-Body applications using the factory front hubs and LS spindles, the XS3 system combines proven racing technology with a street-focused package. Each caliper is machined from solid 6061 aluminum and uses four 1.75-inch pistons for substantial clamping force. TBM's internal crossflow design eliminates external transfer tubes while promoting even hydraulic pressure distribution. Billet CNC-machined 304 stainless steel pistons, black anodized brackets and hats, dark zinc-plated rotors, and quality 12-point hardware complete a durable brake system ready for serious street and performance use.

Caliper Design
The XS3 Extreme Street caliper incorporates technology developed through TBM's racing brake programs into a compact performance package. Each all-billet caliper features a rigid bridge structure designed to minimize flex and provide a more responsive pedal feel. Four 1.75-inch stainless steel pistons generate substantial clamping force, while the internal crossflow fluid design promotes smooth operation and balanced pressure across the pistons without requiring exposed external crossover tubes.
Rotor Design
The included 12.19-inch cast rotors combine slotted and vented construction to balance stopping performance, cooling capacity, durability, weight, and wheel clearance. Their compact diameter allows the XS3 system to fit behind most 15-inch and larger factory or aftermarket wheels when adequate clearance is available. A dark zinc-plated finish helps protect against rust and corrosion before installation and on areas of the rotor that are not swept by the brake pads.
Brake Pads
TBM pairs this XS3 brake kit with Hawk Performance HPS brake pads featuring a Ferro-Carbon friction compound. The HPS material delivers a strong balance of stopping performance and street-friendly operation without the excessive noise and brake dust often associated with more aggressive race-oriented compounds.
Billet Brake Hats
TBM's billet aluminum brake hats reduce unnecessary rotating mass by replacing the heavier steel center section commonly found in traditional one-piece rotors. The unique stepped mounting design also provides minor offset adjustment to assist with proper brake alignment during installation.
