BMR Tunnel Mounted Torque Arm for Stock Exhaust - Red (TA013R) - 1993-2002 GM F-Body

The weak factory stamped steel torque arm deflects significantly under load, even when subjected to mild horsepower and torque levels. BMR’s tunnel-mounted system replaces the flimsy stock component with a robust layout engineered to efficiently transfer power directly to the tires without compromising chassis integrity.
Constructed from heavy-duty 1.25-inch DOM steel tubing with thick 0.120-inch walls and 1/4-inch laser-cut, CNC-formed steel plate, this system is built to withstand extreme loads. By moving the torque arm mounting point away from the vulnerable transmission tailshaft and relocating it to a dedicated transmission tunnel crossmember, this kit eliminates the risk of tailshaft breakage in high-horsepower applications. The specialized TA013 crossmember is designed explicitly for F-bodies running factory, stock exhaust setups, allowing for an optimized structural fitment. Note that this specific kit does not feature an integrated driveshaft safety loop (DSL).
