BMR’s tunnel-mounted system replaces the flimsy stock component with a robust layout engineered to efficiently transfer power directly to the tires without compromising chassis integrity.
Constructed from heavy-duty 1.25-inch DOM steel tubing with thick 0.120-inch walls and 1/4-inch laser-cut, CNC-formed steel plate, this system is built to withstand extreme loads. By moving the torque arm mounting point away from the vulnerable transmission tailshaft and relocating it to a dedicated transmission tunnel crossmember, this kit eliminates the risk of tailshaft breakage in high-horsepower applications. The specialized TA011 crossmember is optimized specifically for F-bodies running factory stock exhaust layouts. This specific kit features a fully integrated, NHRA-legal Driveshaft Safety Loop (DSL) built into the crossmember, providing required safety compliance for high-performance track use.
