Reduced Body Roll and Understeer
The Steeda rear sway bar uses torsional resistance to transfer load from one side of the suspension to the other during cornering. This helps keep the truck more level through turns, reducing excessive body roll and improving the connection between the driver and chassis.
Increasing rear roll stiffness can also help reduce the factory tendency toward understeer, resulting in a more balanced and responsive handling feel when navigating curves, ramps, and other directional changes.

Unlike significantly stiffer springs, a sway bar primarily resists suspension movement when one side of the vehicle moves differently from the other.
