The SP086R kit includes BMR’s SP087 front springs and SP088 rear springs, both precision-manufactured from high-tensile chrome silicon spring wire. To guarantee maximum fatigue resistance and consistent performance, each spring is cold-wound on CNC equipment, stress-relieved at 750 degrees Fahrenheit, and shot-peened. With linear spring rates of 150 lb/in (front) and 800 lb/in (rear), this setup is computer-tested to ensure predictable handling and launch dynamics. IMPORTANT FITMENT & COMPATIBILITY NOTES:
- Vehicle Compatibility: Designed for 2015-2023 S550 and 2024-2026 S650 Mustang models (EcoBoost, V6, and V8 configurations).
- Magneride Exclusion: This kit is NOT compatible with Magneride-equipped vehicles.
- Boosted Application Note: For Mustangs equipped with supercharged or turbocharged V8 engines, BMR recommends the SPD763 kit to properly account for the increased weight over the front suspension.
- Perch Compatibility: Engineered for use with OE-style mounts and perches or aftermarket camber plates that reuse the factory perch. Note that use with certain aftermarket perches (e.g., Vorshlag) may lead to improper fitment and increased NVH.
- Ride Height: Final ride height will vary based on your specific engine configuration and vehicle modifications.
