This robust two-point design solidly anchors into the front subframe and extends rearward to lock directly into the rear lower control arm mounts, delivering maximum reinforcement where the rear suspension transfers heavy load to the chassis. IMPORTANT FITMENT & INSTALLATION NOTES:
- Vehicle Compatibility: Fits 1979-2004 Ford Mustang Hardtop (Coupe/Fastback) models across Fox, SN95, and New Edge generations (including Fox-body 5.0, SVT Cobra, Mach 1, and GT variants).
- Chassis Restriction: This kit is engineered specifically for hardtop models and is NOT compatible with Convertible chassis due to different floor pan and reinforcement layouts.
- Installation: This is a permanent weld-on upgrade. Raw metal must be exposed at the weld points on the factory subframes prior to installation, and bare areas must be coated post-weld to prevent rust. Estimated installation time is 2 to 3 hours.
