Dramatically minimize body roll, sharpen steering transitions, and balance the overall handling characteristics of your 6th Gen Camaro with the Black Hammertone Front and Rear Hollow Sway Bar Kit (SB052H) from BMR Suspension. Under aggressive driving or track conditions, factory sway bars quickly reveal their limitations due to low torsional spring rates from small-diameter materials. This complete front and rear upgrade package includes the SB053 black front bar and SB054 black rear bar, engineered to work in harmony to stabilize your chassis, keep the tire contact patches flat on the pavement, and eliminate the frustrating understeer common to factory setups.
Proudly designed and manufactured in the USA, both bars in the SB052H kit are CNC cold-formed from premium 1.25-inch (32mm) heavy-duty DOM steel tubing. Cold-forming preserves the steel's structural memory, ensuring excellent resistance to torsional fatigue over years of hard driving. The hollow design maximizes structural stiffness while keeping front- and rear-end weight to an absolute minimum. This kit provides outstanding adjustability with 3-hole adjustment points on both bars, yielding a 33% to 96% increase in front stiffness and a 73% to 125% increase in rear stiffness. To ensure immediate power transfer and eliminate suspension deflection, the kit includes low-deflection 88-durometer greaseable polyurethane bushings, zinc-plated inner sleeves, and billet steel thrust washers to prevent lateral "walking" during cornering. Finished in BMR’s durable, textured black hammertone powder coat, these bars offer subtle undercar appeal and superior protection against rust and road debris.
IMPORTANT FITMENT & INSTALLATION NOTES:
- Vehicle Compatibility: Fits 2016 to 2024 Chevrolet Camaro Coupe models (V6, LT1, SS, and ZL1).
- Convertible Exception: This kit is NOT compatible with Camaro Convertible models due to factory under-car chassis bracing interference.
- Engine Clearance Exception: This kit is NOT compatible with 4-cylinder turbo (2.0T) Camaro models due to oil pan and under-tray clearance issues with the front bar (SB053).
- Installation: This is a direct bolt-on upgrade that installs in approximately 3 to 4 hours using standard hand tools.
