Factory G8 rear sway bars are built with low torsional spring rates from small-diameter materials, leaving your sedan with excess body roll and a slow response to quick steering inputs. BMR designed the SB013R specifically to address this, taking into account vehicle weight, motion ratios, and spring rates to deliver flat cornering and vastly improved stability across street performance, drag racing, autocross, and road course driving.
Every SB013R rear bar is proudly designed and made in the USA from heavy-wall 22mm DOM steel tubing, cold-formed to survive intense track abuse while resisting torsional fatigue far longer than hot-formed bars. Featuring a three-hole adjustable design, this rear bar allows you to increase your sway bar rate by 91 to 286 percent over the original stock bar, giving you the power to fine-tune your G8's understeer and oversteer characteristics. This kit comes complete with low-deflection greaseable 88-durometer polyurethane bushings, zinc-plated inner sleeves, and welded-on lateral thrust washers that prevent the bar from shifting side-to-side during hard cornering.
