BMR Suspension Rear Suspension Upgrade Kit Black Hammertone (RSK017H) - 1968-1972 GM A-Body

Launch harder, eliminate performance-robbing wheel hop, and add unmatched cornering consistency to your 1968–1972 GM A-Body with a Rear Suspension Upgrade Kit from BMR Suspension. Factory stamped-steel control arms with soft rubber bushings deflect significantly under load. Instead of directing your engine's power straight to the tires, these stock components flex and absorb energy, resulting in violent wheel hop, erratic cornering, and rear axle misalignment. This non-adjustable polyurethane suspension package combines BMR's heavy-duty tubular lower control arms (TCA034), upper control arms (UTCA004), and heavy-duty frame reinforcement braces (RB002) to deliver unyielding structural strength and maximum power transfer.

Every RSK017H kit is proudly designed and manufactured in the USA from heavy-duty DOM steel tubing. The non-adjustable lower control arms are constructed from massive 1.50-inch diameter, 0.120-inch wall tubing, providing maximum resistance to bending under hard launches. The upper control arms are constructed from heavy-duty 1.625-inch (1-5/8") diameter, 0.120-inch wall DOM steel tubing to handle extreme compression loads. To complete the package, the included frame reinforcement braces are built from 1.0-inch diameter, 0.156-inch wall steel tubing. These braces tie the upper and lower control arm frame mounts together, dramatically reducing frame deflection under heavy load for a highly responsive, connected driving experience.

To deliver an incredibly responsive driving feel without sacrificing ride quality, both the upper and lower control arms are equipped with greasable, 95-durometer polyurethane bushings. These high-performance bushings feature an internally fluted design that channels grease directly to the outer thrust surfaces, keeping them fully lubricated and ensuring quiet, reliable operation. This polyurethane formulation balances street-driving comfort and track performance, easily handling heavy drag racing launches and hard cornering while absorbing harsh road noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH). Completed with zinc-coated inner sleeves and a durable black hammertone powder coat finish, this direct bolt-on upgrade is built to perform and last.
