Every RPG Level 1 Short Block begins with a brand-new Ford S650 5.0L Coyote block and crankshaft before being machined and assembled using premium aftermarket components. Featuring RPG-spec forged pistons, Manley/Callies H-beam connecting rods with ARP2000 fasteners, Mahle piston rings, and King bearings, each engine is torque plate honed, resurfaced, precision balanced, and assembled to competition-level specifications. The result is a high-strength short block that offers exceptional durability for high-horsepower Mustang builds.
