Specifically engineered for vehicles already utilizing a manual-steering-specific BMR K-member (designed with the "-1" part number suffix), this comprehensive manual steering conversion kit provides a bolt-on solution perfect for high-performance street and dedicated drag racing builds.
This complete system features a custom-width Pinto-style manual steering rack designed to mount seamlessly to your compatible BMR K-member. It includes a double D-style steering shaft with heavy-duty universal joints, a premium billet aluminum mount, and a fully adjustable bump steer kit to maintain precise steering geometry under extreme suspension travel. Beyond shedding weight, the streamlined manual rack configuration clears up valuable engine bay space, giving you much-needed extra clearance for large-primary aftermarket exhaust headers. Finished bare, this high-performance system is designed and manufactured in the USA.
Please Note: This kit is designed to work ONLY with BMR's manual-steering-specific K-members. Installation requires drilling the factory steering spindles to accept the bump steer kit. For maximum adjustment range and clearance from the bump steer kit, BMR highly recommends using narrow "skinnie" front drag wheels.
