Ridetech Bolt-On 4-Link Kit - 2015-2026 Ford F-150

Upgrade the rear suspension of your 2015-2026 Ford F-150 with the Ridetech Bolt-On 4-Link Kit, a performance-focused system designed for use with Ridetech lowering setups. This kit converts the factory leaf spring rear suspension to a true 4-link configuration, opening the door to coil-over or ShockWave air suspension options while adding adjustable instant center and anti-squat geometry for more control over traction, power transfer, and rear suspension behavior.

Built with high-horsepower street trucks and drag race applications in mind, the Ridetech F-150 4-Link provides substantially more adjustability than the factory leaf spring setup. The system allows preferred instant center and anti-squat values to be selected, giving drivers more control over how the truck plants the rear tires and transfers power under acceleration. An adjustable panhard bar also allows the rear axle to be properly centered at the chosen ride height.

Ridetech offers this 4-link system in both No-Notch and C-Notch configurations. The No-Notch version accommodates up to a 5-inch rear drop, while the C-Notch version allows up to a 7-inch rear drop for trucks requiring a more aggressive stance. The system can then be paired with compatible HQ or TQ coil-over or ShockWave options, allowing the suspension package to be tailored to street, drag, handling, or air ride goals.

Features

  • Designed for 2015-2026 Ford F-150 applications
  • For use with Ridetech lowering systems
  • Converts the factory leaf spring rear suspension to a true 4-link configuration
  • Compatible with coil-over and ShockWave air suspension setups
  • Engineered for high-horsepower street and drag race F-150 builds
  • Improves traction and power transfer to help put more power to the pavement
  • Provides greater articulation than the factory leaf spring setup without sacrificing stability
  • 4-link design can provide improved ride quality characteristics compared to the OE multi-leaf suspension
  • Purpose-built rear suspension uses dedicated links for rear axle positioning and separate coil-overs or air springs for vehicle load support
  • No-Notch version accommodates up to a 5-inch rear drop
  • C-Notch version allows up to a 7-inch rear drop
  • Adjustable anti-squat and instant center range from 50% to 230%
  • Adjustable panhard bar allows proper rear axle centering at the desired ride height
  • Panhard bar installs around the factory spare tire
  • Designed to clear single-side exhaust systems
  • Designed to fit around the additional shielding found on PowerBoost models
  • Factory and aftermarket dual exhaust systems may require a lower crossover-style exhaust configuration for clearance
  • Bolt-in installation with no welding required
  • C-Notch configuration requires frame cutting
  • Grade 8 installation hardware included
  • Patented R-Joints use a composite cage for quiet articulation and maintenance-free self-lubrication
  • Black powder coat finish provides corrosion resistance

Suspension Options

The Ridetech 4-Link can be paired with compatible HQ or TQ coil-over and ShockWave air suspension options depending on the level of adjustment and performance required.

  • HQ ShockWaves: 24-position rebound adjustable with ride height adjustment for tuning handling and stance.
  • TQ ShockWaves: Triple-adjustable for motorsport applications with high-speed compression, low-speed compression, and low-speed rebound adjustment.
  • Coil-Over and ShockWave Options: Utilize Fox Factory monotube technology for responsive, tunable suspension performance.

Important: Shocks are not included with this 4-link kit and must be selected separately based on the desired suspension configuration.

No-Notch & C-Notch Configurations

Choose the 4-link setup that best matches your desired rear ride height. The No-Notch version accommodates up to a 5-inch rear drop and does not require frame notching. The C-Notch version allows up to a 7-inch rear drop, providing an additional 2 inches of lowering capability, but requires cutting the frame during installation.

Towing & Heavy Load Applications

For lowered trucks that still need towing or heavy-load capability, Ridetech recommends configuring the suspension with a complete front and rear ShockWave system and RidePro E5 control. Another option is to retain coil-overs in the front and use an appropriate rear air suspension control system to maintain additional load support when towing or hauling.

FITMENT NOTES
- Compatible with BlueCruise-equipped Ford F-150 trucks
- Compatible with PowerBoost-equipped Ford F-150 trucks
- C-Notch configuration is not recommended for PowerBoost models due to clearance concerns
- Not compatible with Ford F-150 Lightning models
- Not compatible with Ford F-150 Raptor models
- Not compatible with Ford F-150 Tremor models
- Not compatible with the current Ridetech rear sway bar

Wheel & Tire Note: The design accommodates popular drag-spec wheel and tire combinations. Ridetech tested one of its development trucks with 315/50R17 rear tires. This type of setup is well suited for modified 2WD and 4WD F150 trucks producing approximately 700-1000 WHP that need additional traction to launch effectively.

Exhaust Note: The adjustable panhard bar is designed to install around the factory spare tire and clear single-side exhaust systems. Trucks equipped with factory or aftermarket dual exhaust may require a lower crossover-style exhaust configuration, such as a LOBO-style setup, for proper clearance.

Configuration Note: Final ride height and suspension behavior will depend on the selected No-Notch or C-Notch 4-Link configuration and the chosen coil-over or ShockWave package.
