Ridetech Front Upper StrongArms (1988-1998 C1500) - 11373699
Upgrade the front suspension of your 1988–1998 Chevrolet C1500, Suburban, Tahoe, or GMC C1500 equivalent with the Ridetech Front Upper StrongArms (11373699). Designed to replace weak stamped OEM control arms, these heavy-duty tubular control arms eliminate flex, improve steering response, and provide optimized geometry for custom and performance suspension setups, including CoolRide air suspension, coil-overs, and StreetGRIP stock upgrades.
Manufactured in-house using precise 4-axis tubing benders for maximum strength and clean styling, these upper arms are finished in a durable satin black powder coat and come completely pre-assembled with ball joints, cross shafts, and low-deflection Delrin bushings impregnated with Teflon for bind-free, maintenance-free operation. The optimized geometry increases positive caster for enhanced high-speed stability, centers the wheel within the wheel well for maximum clearance and turning radius, and repositions ball joint angles to prevent binding through extreme suspension travel.
Note: Designed for use with 2WD trucks equipped with coil spring style front suspension.
