Overview
High-output turbo setups generate serious heat, and in marine applications that heat can quickly become a problem. PPE's Water-Cooled Stainless Steel T4 Turbo Pedestal is engineered to keep turbocharger temperatures under control while maintaining strength and reliability in demanding environments.
Integrated Water-Cooling Passages
This pedestal features internal 3/8-inch NPT water inlets and outlets that circulate coolant through the pedestal body. By pulling heat away from the turbocharger, it helps stabilize temperatures and protect surrounding components - especially important for engines mounted under tight covers or near fiberglass transoms.
Stainless Steel T4 Divided Flange
A 1/2-inch stainless steel T4 divided turbo flange provides a strong, warp-resistant mounting surface. It is designed to fit Garrett 40 Series turbos, but 42, 45, and other T4-frame chargers can also be installed without modification.
Reduces Engine Bay Heat
By lowering turbocharger temperatures, this pedestal helps reduce overall engine bay heat - protecting nearby components and improving long-term reliability in high-heat marine environments.
Direct Bolt-On Fitment
The pedestal installs in the factory location with no cutting or fabrication required, making it a straightforward upgrade for Duramax-powered marine applications.
