Overview
The PPE Stage 1 Cylinder Head is designed for 2007.5-2010 GM 6.6L Duramax engines and delivers a significant upgrade in airflow, valvetrain stability, and overall durability compared to factory heads. Each unit is CNC-machined and assembled with premium components to support higher power levels and improved engine efficiency.
Precision CNC Porting
PPE machines every Stage 1 head on a 5-axis CNC, including a full radius cut on the intake ports. This porting process increases airflow by approximately 35 CFM over stock on both the intake and exhaust sides, helping the engine breathe more efficiently under load or elevated boost.
Upgraded Valvetrain Components
Stage 1 heads come equipped with titanium retainers, new spring cup bases, and high-pressure beehive valve springs for improved stability at higher RPM and boost levels. New valve stem seals are also installed to ensure long-term reliability.
