Designed for BA, BF, FG, and FGX Ford Falcon XR6 Turbo Barra engines, this manifold combines precision-machined billet construction, carefully engineered runner geometry, a heavy-duty formed plenum, and dual fuel rails to support serious street, drift, and race combinations.
Plazmaman developed this manifold using decades of experience with turbocharged performance vehicles, taking critical factors such as ram tube length, runner taper, and plenum volume into consideration. The result is a purpose-built intake manifold designed to support demanding high-boost Barra applications while providing the airflow and additional fueling capacity required by extreme performance combinations.
The manifold utilizes a precision CNC-machined one-piece billet base manufactured on multi-axis HAAS CNC equipment. Plazmaman machines these bases to tolerances within .005, while the plenum dome is formed in-house from heavy-duty 3mm hard-temper aluminum. Each manifold is professionally TIG welded by experienced fabricators at Plazmaman's Sydney facility.

12-Injector Twin-Rail Configuration
This version of the Plazmaman Barra intake manifold is configured specifically for 12 injectors and twin fuel rails. The additional injector capacity makes it well suited for high-horsepower combinations where six injectors alone may not provide the desired fuel delivery capability.
The supplied billet fuel rails are designed around 14mm full-length top-feed injectors, matching the general injector format used on factory BA/BF applications. Injector sizing and fuel system configuration should be selected according to the engine's power level, fuel type, and tuning requirements.
Billet Base and Heavy-Duty Plenum
The manifold uses a one-piece billet base precision machined from aluminum using multi-axis CNC equipment. Combined with the 3mm hard-temper aluminum plenum dome and professional TIG welding, this construction provides the strength required for extreme boost applications while maintaining precise port alignment and sealing.
Plazmaman states that its inlet manifolds are rated to withstand 100 psi of boost at any engine speed, while the heavy-duty 3mm dome itself carries a 200+ psi guarantee.
Throttle Body Options
The manifold can be configured for a variety of throttle body arrangements. Plazmaman billet throttle bodies are available, or the manifold can be configured to accept another compatible throttle body.
Important: Plazmaman billet throttle bodies are traditional cable-operated units. Vehicles retaining the factory Ford ECU must use a compatible drive-by-wire (DBW) throttle body. A cable-operated throttle body requires an appropriate standalone ECU and a suitable idle air control strategy because the factory Barra engine uses the electronic throttle body and ECU to control idle airflow.
For most street and factory-ECU applications, retaining a DBW throttle body such as the factory unit or a compatible LS-style or Bosch Motorsport DBW unit will provide the simplest installation and calibration path. The factory DBW throttle body is capable of supporting substantial horsepower and does not automatically need to be replaced on high-output builds.
Custom Plenum Options
In addition to conventional BA/BF/FG/FGX applications, different plenum dome shapes are available for retro engine swaps and dedicated drag racing combinations. Forward-facing dome configurations can accommodate custom engine bay layouts where the standard throttle body orientation is unsuitable.
