Factory fluid-filled engine mounts are designed for absolute isolation, but they are notoriously bulky and prone to excessive deflection under load. This engine twist dampens throttle response, slows reaction times, and impacts shifting accuracy in manual transmission applications. BMR’s MM010R kit completely replaces the bulky factory assemblies with high-clearance tubular stands and stiff polyurethane bushings to optimize performance without sacrificing street drivability.
Engineered for high-horsepower street performance, drag racing, and handling applications, the MM010R kit is manufactured from heavy-duty 1.75-inch DOM steel tubing. This unique design frees up massive amounts of under-hood space, giving you the necessary clearance to route custom headers, large downpipes, or custom turbo configurations. By utilizing high-density 95-durometer polyurethane bushings, these mounts drastically reduce engine deflection while minimizing changes in NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness). As an added performance benefit, this ultra-strong tubular assembly is 50% lighter than the cumbersome factory engine mount setup. The kit comes complete with premium Grade 8 hardware to handle severe track abuse.
Finished in a durable, long-lasting red powder coat, this kit requires roughly 2 to 3 hours to install. It is a must-have upgrade for forced induction builds or high-power street cars demanding immediate throttle response and enhanced engine bay packaging.
NOTE: Compatible with V8-equipped models only. For max-effort, dedicated race configurations where engine deflection must be completely eliminated and NVH is not a concern, these mounts can be easily converted using BMR’s MM006 Solid Motor Mount Solid Bushing Upgrade Kit (sold separately).
