Constructed from 2x2 3K carbon fiber cloth, this double-sided carbon fiber hood is designed to deliver excellent strength, durability, and reduced weight while providing a premium carbon fiber appearance on both sides. A glossy clear coat highlights the carbon fiber weave and provides UV-resistant properties to help protect against sun damage and fading. For the best long-term appearance and protection, MAZ Muscle recommends polishing and ceramic coating the hood.
The heavily vented design is optimized to maximize airflow and promote efficient heat dissipation from the engine compartment, helping manage underhood temperatures during demanding performance driving. Designed as a direct bolt-on upgrade for the S650 Mustang, the hood comes pre-drilled for hood pins and includes the hood pins for installation. Light modification is required for the windshield washer fluid system.
