The matching GTD Hood combines 2x2 twill wet carbon fiber with a reinforcing carbon exoskeleton, vacuum-infused resin construction, and precision molds developed from 3D CAD scans.
GT4-R GTD-Inspired Fenders
The MAZ Muscle GT4-R Fenders are designed to bring the aggressive appearance of the Mustang GTD to the S650 platform. Their wider profile and functional venting create a more purposeful front-end appearance while providing additional room for aggressive tire configurations.
Each fender extends approximately 0.85 inch wider per side compared with the standard body profile. This added width helps support wider wheel and tire combinations while dramatically changing the Mustang's stance.
Functional Fender Venting
The GT4-R Fenders incorporate functional air vents engineered to improve airflow and assist with heat management around the front of the vehicle. MAZ Muscle designed the vented profile to combine aerodynamic function with the aggressive styling of its GTD-inspired body components.
GT4-R Fender Construction Options
MAZ Muscle offers the GT4-R Fender design in multiple constructions. The dry carbon fiber version uses 100% dry carbon fiber for lightweight strength and durability and features a glossy clear coat finish for a premium appearance and UV protection.
A fiberglass version is also available for builds where custom paint or wrapping is preferred. Final fender construction should be selected according to the configuration offered with this combo.
Direct Bolt-On Fender Installation
The GT4-R Fenders are designed as direct bolt-on components for the S650 Mustang. Their vehicle-specific construction provides the approximately 0.85-inch wider profile without requiring an entirely custom fender mounting arrangement.
GTD Carbon Fiber Hood
Completing the package is the MAZ Muscle GTD Carbon Fiber Hood. Designed for the 2024-2026 Mustang, the hood combines wet carbon fiber construction with a carbon fiber exoskeleton engineered to increase strength and durability while maintaining the lightweight benefits of a composite hood.
2x2 Twill Carbon with Vacuum-Infused Resin
The GTD Hood is constructed using 2x2 twill carbon fiber and vacuum-infused resin. The exposed carbon construction provides a premium performance appearance while the manufacturing process is designed to deliver the strength and durability required for a performance-focused exterior component.
Carbon Fiber Exoskeleton

3D CAD-Developed Fitment
Precision molds developed from 3D CAD scans are used to manufacture the GTD Hood. This process allows MAZ Muscle to engineer the hood around the S650 Mustang's body dimensions for accurate vehicle-specific fitment.
Two-Layer Clear Coat Finish
The GTD Carbon Fiber Hood receives two layers of clear coat to help protect the carbon fiber and provide a deep, glossy finished appearance. The additional clear coating is designed to improve finish longevity while showcasing the 2x2 twill carbon weave.
Hood Pin Recommendation
Hood pins are recommended for this hood. MAZ Muscle states that it is not responsible for damage resulting from improper installation or failure to use hood pins. Proper installation and secure hood retention are especially important on performance vehicles and vehicles operated at higher speeds.
Heat Shield Required
Proper heat protection must be used with the GTD Carbon Fiber Hood. MAZ Muscle requires reuse of the OEM heat shield or the installation of approved heat-shielding tape on the underside of the hood to help protect the carbon fiber composite from engine-bay heat damage.
Do Not Use OEM Gas Struts
MAZ Muscle recommends against using the factory gas hood struts with the GTD Carbon Fiber Hood. The upward force generated by the gas struts can place excessive stress on the composite structure and potentially cause damage. A hood prop should be used instead.
Recommended Hood Hardware
MAZ Muscle recommends M6x1.00 14mm hardware, using four fasteners with one washer at each mounting location.
