The MM Road & Track Grip Box takes the stock Mustang suspension design to the next level. This combination of parts provides great performance while retaining ride quality suitable for daily driving. Excellent for canyon carving, autocrossing, track days, and daily commuting.

The Road & Track Box takes handling performance as far as the stock suspension design can go while still retaining good ride quality. It provides all the basics: chassis stiffening, higher-rate springs with matching dampers, caster camber plates, improved rear control arms, a Panhard bar, and much more. The difference in performance from a stock suspension is amazing.

Choose between 3 different damper brands; MM, Koni, or Bilstein. All are excellent.

  • MM Street dampers are most suitable for upgrading to coil-overs. The MM strut housing is the most robust available, and is preferred for track use. The MM shock has the largest-diameter shaft for best performance and durability. Excellent performance and ride quality.
  • Koni SA dampers are adjustable, for those who know how to evaluate handling and make the proper adjustments to optimize the dampers. Easy conversion to coil-overs.
  • Bilstein HD dampers provide great performance and good ride quality. Shocks require modification to convert to coil-overs.

The heart of your Mustang's high-performance handling is the combination of springs and dampers. We've made things easy by already basing this package around our own Road & Track springs. These progressive springs have a front rate of 650-750 lb/in. That's as high as we ever recommend for a street-driven Mustang, and is only slightly higher than the stock spring rates of the Bullitt, Mach One, and 2003-04 Cobra models.

Rear Lower Control Arms
Choose the series of MM rear lower control arms. The differences between the 3 different series are in the bushings used and the horsepower rating. Each series has an adjustable ride-height version; specify the control arm part number in the comments field at checkout.

  • Sport series are rated to 400rwhp, with urethane bushings at both ends.
  • Heavy-Duty series are rated to 400rwhp, with a spherical bearing at one end for better axle control.
  • Extreme-Duty series are rated up to 1,000rwhp (600 rwhp for the adjustable-height version) because there are spherical bearings at both ends.
