Kooks 3" Catted Header-Back ULTRA-X Exhaust to Stock Mufflers (22605291) - 2016-2024 Camaro SS 6.2L
Complete your Kooks long tube header setup while retaining the factory rear mufflers with the Kooks 3" Performance Catted Header-Back ULTRA-X Exhaust System. Designed specifically for the 2016-2024 Chevrolet Camaro SS 6.2L, the 22605291 combines 3" Performance Catted Connections with Kooks' ULTRA-X pipe before transitioning to the factory 2-3/4" muffler connection.
This header-back configuration provides the components needed to connect compatible Kooks Long Tube Headers to the OEM Camaro SS mufflers. It is an ideal configuration for naturally aspirated combinations requiring a catted Kooks header-back exhaust while retaining the factory mufflers.
Performance Catted Header-Back System
The Kooks 22605291 includes 3" Performance Catted Connections and a 3" ULTRA-X pipe, creating a complete header-back configuration for use with Kooks Long Tube Headers. The system transitions from its 3" exhaust piping to the 2-3/4" OEM muffler connection.
Kooks Performance Catted Connections are rated for applications producing up to 550 WHP and are NOT suitable for forced induction. Applications exceeding this power level or using a supercharger, turbocharger, or other forced induction setup should not use these Performance Catted Connections.
ULTRA-X Exhaust Configuration
The included ULTRA-X pipe is integrated into the header-back system between the Kooks long tube headers and factory rear mufflers. This allows the Camaro to retain its OEM muffler assemblies while replacing the exhaust path ahead of them with the Kooks catted header-back configuration.
Retains Factory Mufflers
The 22605291 is designed to connect directly into the factory Camaro SS mufflers after the required modification. Cutting of the factory exhaust is necessary for installation. Refer to the Kooks installation instructions for specific cutting locations and complete installation details before beginning installation.
Kooks Long Tube Headers Required
This header-back exhaust does not connect to the factory exhaust manifolds. Compatible Kooks Long Tube Headers are required for installation. This system should be selected as part of a Kooks long tube header exhaust combination rather than as a standalone replacement for the factory exhaust system.
