By replacing the heavy, bulky factory K-member with this high-strength tubular alternative, you achieve a weight reduction of over 30 pounds and gain significant under-hood clearance for large-tube headers and custom turbo kits.
The KM006-1R is constructed from heavy-duty 1 1/2-inch x 0.120 wall DOM steel tubing and 3/16-inch laser-cut, CNC-formed steel plates to provide exceptional structural rigidity for street, drag, and handling applications. This 100% bolt-in kit is designed with dedicated mounts for Pinto steering rack conversions. Please note that this unit is specifically designed for aftermarket A-arms and is not compatible with factory OE lower control arms.
