The complete KellTrac carbon ceramic system saves approximately 70 lbs of rotating weight compared to the factory front and rear brake setup. For drag-oriented GT500 builds, this represents a substantial reduction in rotating mass without requiring a complete caliper conversion.
Designed Around the Factory Brembo Calipers
The kit is engineered to retain the factory GT500 Brembo calipers. Carbon ceramic specific brake pads are used to accommodate the smaller rotor dimensions while maintaining the factory-style caliper mounting arrangement.

Front Brake Pad Overhang Notice
Due to supply chain and supplier changes, all front kits produced beginning January 1, 2025 are supplied with brake pads that overhang the edge of the smaller-diameter rotor. According to KellTrac, this overhang is intentional and acceptable for the intended application. KellTrac reports testing this configuration on shop vehicles for more than 7,500 miles and 300+ wide-open-throttle pulls with repeated heavy braking.
