At the core of the design is the industry's largest 1-inch spherical bearing featuring a heat-treated and hard chrome-plated 52100 steel ball, a high-strength heat-treated bearing race, and a premium sintered bronze/PTFE bearing liner. Unlike conventional PTFE-lined bearings, the J&M liner utilizes the same technology found in modern OEM ball joints, providing greater load capacity, longer wear life, and maintenance-free operation.
