Unlike the factory Mustang suspension, which offers no caster or camber adjustment, J&M caster camber plates allow you to restore proper alignment after lowering your vehicle, correct factory production tolerances, and optimize suspension geometry for street driving, drag racing, autocross, or road course use. The independent adjustment design allows camber changes without affecting caster settings, making alignment tuning easier and more precise.
At the heart of the system is J&M's industry-leading spherical bearing assembly featuring a heat-treated and hard chrome-plated 52100 steel ball, heat-treated 4340 chromoly steel bearing race, and a premium sintered bronze/PTFE bearing liner similar to those found in modern OEM ball joints. This advanced design provides exceptional strength, durability, and precise strut shaft location while eliminating unwanted suspension deflection during aggressive driving.
