Upgrade Service Overview

This option upgrades your existing ECM to enable tuning via HP Tuners VCM Suite.

  • Send in your original ECM for modification
  • Returned ready for OBDII-based tuning
  • Typical service time: 3 business days (excluding shipping)

Tuning Requirements

  • HP Tuners MPVI2, MPVI2+, or MPVI3 interface required
  • Latest version of VCM Suite required
  • (8) Universal Credits required for licensing (sold separately)

Important Notes

  • ECM can only be tuned using HP Tuners software and interface
  • No dealer or third-party tuning tools are supported
  • VCM Scanner and standard diagnostic tools continue to function normally
  • Stock calibration can be restored or updated using VCM Suite
  • E99 ECM Exchange Service is no longer available
