Harrop TVS900 Supercharger Kit (99-AKIT13379) - 2004-2006 Mini Cooper S R53
Modernize the supercharger system on your 2004-2006 Mini Cooper S R53 with the Harrop TVS900 Supercharger Kit. Designed as a direct replacement for the factory Eaton M45, the Harrop TVS900 brings newer Eaton TVS technology to the supercharged R53 platform while retaining an OE-style installation, factory belt routing, and compatibility with factory or aftermarket intercoolers.
The factory R53 M45 uses an older three-lobe rotor design with a 60-degree helix twist. Harrop replaces that technology with an Eaton TVS900 featuring four-lobe rotors and a 160-degree helix, providing greater thermal and volumetric efficiency. The result is improved airflow, reduced supercharger inefficiency, and an immediate increase in performance without sacrificing the responsive character that makes the supercharged R53 so enjoyable to drive.

Modern Eaton TVS900 Technology
The original Eaton M45 helped define the character of the R53 Mini Cooper S, but its three-lobe, 60-degree rotor design represents an older generation of supercharger technology. The Harrop TVS900 upgrades the R53 with Eaton's four-lobe TVS rotor technology and a 160-degree helix twist for improved efficiency and airflow.
Greater thermal and volumetric efficiency allows the TVS900 to deliver increased performance while retaining the immediate throttle response and low-rpm torque associated with a positive-displacement supercharger.
Direct M45 Supercharger Replacement
Harrop engineered the TVS900 specifically around the tight packaging requirements of the R53 Mini Cooper S. The supercharger mounts in the original M45 location and uses the factory 6PK belt route and tensioner, helping provide a clean installation without unnecessarily changing the vehicle's original supercharger layout.
The system also integrates with either the factory intercooler or compatible aftermarket intercooler upgrades, making it suitable for everything from a refreshed street-driven R53 to a more extensively modified performance build.

The standard 70mm pulley configuration provides a performance increase through the improved efficiency of the TVS900 without requiring an additional tuning solution.
