The Halltech Systems V2024 C5 Venom is a second-generation cold air induction system engineered for 2001-2004 Chevrolet Corvette C5 models equipped with the LS1 or LS6. Developed from Halltech's Killer Bee II intake architecture, the Venom is designed to increase airflow toward the throttle body while retaining the factory mass airflow sensor. This configuration pairs the C5 Venom with the S&B Gray Oiled High Flow TRACK Filter, red throttle-body hose, Halltech honeycomb laminar flow screen, and no NOMEX sleeve for a performance-focused combination built specifically around the C5 LS1 and LS6 platform.
Halltech builds the V2024 around its wide SuperBee filter design with an integrated velocity stack flange and revised intake geometry developed to increase airflow toward the throttle body. The bridge uses Halltech's newer Killer Bee II mold, which Halltech reports produced more than 13 horsepower during Katech engine-dyno testing. The included honeycomb laminar flow screen provides higher flow than the stock LS1 screen while allowing the original MAF sensor to remain in service. This version adds the S&B Gray Oiled High Flow TRACK Filter for enthusiasts choosing Halltech's track-oriented high-flow filter option, along with a red throttle-body hose for a more distinctive engine-bay appearance. The factory MAF sensor, A.I.R. pump elbow, and wire harness are reused. Halltech advises against cutting additional openings in the radiator shroud because they are unnecessary and can cause lean codes and surging.
