S&B Blue Dry Filter
This STRZ06 configuration uses the S&B Blue Dry Filter, giving C7 Z06 owners a non-oiled filtration option for the Stinger-RZ. Because the filter uses dry media, routine servicing does not require the filter-oiling step associated with an oiled filter. Halltech also offers S&B Red Oiled, S&B Gray Oiled High-Flow TRACK, and TKO Attack Blue Dry Nano filter choices for the Stinger-RZ.
Stock Throttle Body Configuration
This version is configured for the stock C7 Z06 throttle body. It is intended for installations retaining the factory throttle-body size rather than using one of the larger throttle-body configurations available for the Stinger-RZ.
No PCV Hole in Throttle-Body Hose
The throttle-body hose supplied with this configuration does not have a PCV hole. Halltech makes the PCV-hole configuration selectable when ordering the STRZ06, so the hose configuration should be matched to the vehicle's PCV setup before installation.
Larger Sealed Airbox
The Stinger-RZ uses a sealed airbox that Halltech describes as much larger than the stock unit to promote better airflow. Because of the increased airbox size, installation requires repositioning some engine-bay components and making minor modifications. Halltech regularly audits filter-box fitment against a spare F-panel and strongly recommends professional installation.
TRIC Ram Air Compatible
The Stinger-RZ is designed so Halltech's TRIC Ram Air package can be added later without requiring changes to the Stinger-RZ intake system. This gives C7 Z06 owners the flexibility to install the cold air intake first and expand the induction system with the compatible TRIC Ram Air package later.

Halltech states that the STRZ06 does not have a California Executive Order number and is not legal for sale in California for use on emissions-controlled vehicles except where legally permitted for qualifying off-road applications such as track racing.
