Its tapered design incorporates 70 pleats around the perimeter to maximize filtered surface area. Because this version uses dry filter media, servicing does not require the filter-oiling step associated with an oiled filter.
NOMEX Insulative Sleeve
This configuration includes Halltech's black 18-inch NOMEX insulative sleeve. The heat-barrier sleeve is designed to completely insulate Halltech intake tubing and isolate intake airflow from hot underhood temperatures. Depending on the intake configuration, its length can also provide coverage for the throttle-body hose and/or filter neck.
112mm Throttle Body Configuration
This version is configured for a 112mm throttle body rather than the stock throttle-body connection.
