Halltech designed it to help isolate intake airflow from hot underhood temperatures, and depending on the installation, its length may also provide coverage over the throttle-body hose and/or filter neck.
No PCV Hole in T/B Hose
This specific STRX configuration does not include a PCV hole in the throttle-body hose. It is intended for installations that do not require the added PCV provision in the throttle-body transition hose.
Dual-Nozzle Methanol Considerations
