Halltech Systems Stingray LT1 Cold Air Intake System - S&B Blue Dry Filter - NOMEX Sleeve - Stock Throttle Body - Two PCV Lines in Hose (2014 - 2019 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray / 2017 - 2019 Grand Sport) - STR

Upgrade the induction system on your LT1-powered C7 Corvette with the Halltech Systems STR Cold Air Intake System. Designed for the 2014-2019 Chevrolet Corvette C7 Stingray and 2017-2019 Grand Sport, this configuration combines Halltech's purpose-built C7 Stinger intake architecture with the S&B Blue Dry Filter, NOMEX heat-barrier sleeve, stock throttle-body compatibility, and a two-PCV-line setup. It is a well-matched STR package for drivers who want the easier maintenance of dry filter media, additional thermal insulation around the intake tract, and a configuration designed around the factory LT1 throttle body.

The S&B Blue Dry Filter gives this STR an oil-free filtration setup, eliminating the filter-oiling step required by traditional oiled media. The included NOMEX sleeve provides an additional thermal barrier around the intake tract, while this version retains compatibility with the stock throttle-body configuration and is set up for vehicles using two PCV lines. PCV plumbing is especially important when ordering an STR because Halltech notes that although GM began using one PCV line in 2017, many 2017-2019 Corvettes have been found with two PCV lines. The actual vehicle should therefore be physically inspected before ordering.

S&B Blue Dry Filter

This STR configuration uses the S&B Blue Dry Filter, Halltech's dry S&B option for drivers who prefer filtration without the maintenance requirements of oiled media. Because the filter uses dry media, there is no need to apply filter oil during routine servicing. That makes it an attractive choice for C7 owners looking for straightforward filter maintenance while retaining a performance-oriented Halltech induction package.

Stock Throttle Body Configuration

This version of the Halltech STR is configured for the factory LT1 throttle body. It is the appropriate STR configuration for a C7 Stingray or Grand Sport retaining its stock throttle body rather than using one of the larger throttle-body combinations available for the system.

Two PCV Line Configuration

This STR is specifically configured for C7 LT1 applications requiring two PCV connections, with the second PCV connection added to the intake. Do not select the PCV configuration based only on model year. Halltech states that GM began using one PCV line in 2017, but it continues to encounter 2017-2019 Corvettes equipped with two PCV lines. Physically inspect the vehicle and confirm its actual PCV plumbing before ordering.

NOMEX Heat-Barrier Sleeve

This configuration includes the NOMEX sleeve for an additional thermal barrier around the intake tract. The sleeve helps insulate the intake from surrounding underhood heat, adding another layer of heat management to the STR package while retaining the stock throttle-body and two-PCV configuration specified for this version.

Installation Note

Older Halltech installation material may show an F-panel seal. Halltech states that this seal is no longer needed and is therefore no longer supplied with the STR kit. The corresponding F-panel-seal step shown in older installation instructions can be ignored.

Emissions Notice

Halltech states that the STR does not have a California Executive Order number and is not legal for sale in California unless used in a qualifying off-road application such as track racing. Check applicable state and local emissions requirements before ordering or installing this intake.

FAQs

Does the S&B Blue Dry Filter require filter oil?
No. The S&B Blue Dry Filter uses dry filter media, so filter oil is not required during normal servicing. It is the S&B dry-filter choice for this Halltech STR configuration.

How do I know whether my C7 Corvette needs the two-PCV-line Halltech STR?
Physically inspect the vehicle and count its PCV lines before ordering. Halltech states that GM began using one PCV line in 2017, but it has encountered many 2017-2019 Corvettes that still have two PCV lines. This STR configuration is specifically set up for cars requiring two PCV connections.
