Halltech offers four filter choices for the Super Hornet, split between two dry and two oiled options. Regardless of filter media, the system provides more than 600 square inches of filtration area to support the substantial airflow demands of the LT6 and LT7 platforms.
2 NOMEX Insulating Sleeves
This Super Hornet configuration includes 2 NOMEX insulating sleeves, pairing the S&B Red Oiled Filter with the sleeved version of the SPRHRNT package. The dual-sleeve configuration complements the Super Hornet's dual-path intake architecture and distinguishes this package from the corresponding Red Oiled Filter version offered without the NOMEX sleeves.
